Custom Product Input Fields for Horizon Theme

Easily add custom input fields to your Shopify product pages using this all-in-one line item properties snippet built for the Horizon theme.

Let customers enter text, upload files, select dates, or leave detailed notes — all before adding a product to cart.

To add custom input fields to your product pages using the Horizon theme:

1. Go to your Shopify Theme Code.
   In your Shopify admin, head to Online Store > Themes > Edit code.

2. Create a New Section.
   Under the Sections folder, create a new file named:
   eg-properties.liquid

3. Paste the Snippet Code.
   Add the full code for your line item properties here and save the file.

4. Add the Section to Your Product Page.
   Go back to Customize in your theme editor, select the Product Page, and add the new "eg-properties" section.

5. Start Adding Input Fields.
   Use the input type options (Text, Textarea, File Upload, Date) to customize your form fields.

6. Don’t Forget to Save Your Work.
   Save each time you make changes to avoid losing progress.
